Danny Ray Fiscus, 72, of Carthage, passed away, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care.

Danny was born November 16, 1950, to the late Robert and Hazel Hesher Fiscus of Hammond, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his brother Greg Fiscus, of Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Helen Garner Fiscus, daughter, Gretchen Oldham (Nathan) of Carthage, brother; Mike Fiscus (Fran) of Indiana, sister; Toni Fiscus (Roger Riddell) of Indiana, and brothers; Jeff Fiscus (Robyn) of Indiana and Chris Fiscus (Tammy) of Alabama, and sister-in-law; Patty Fiscus of Indiana.

A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM. A funeral service will be at 3 PM, Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Robbins with Pastor Colton Moore officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.

  15. Aunt Helen & Gretchen, I am so sorry for your loss. I feel terrible that I wasn’t able to attend the service. I know that Dad and Uncle Dan are now hanging out in the Big House in heaven.
