Danny Ray Foster, Jr., age 24 died Saturday (January 17, 2009) following a three year battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Halls Memorial Church conducted by Pastor John Stinnett. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service starting at 12:00. Burial will follow in Lamms Grove Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
A native of Moore County he attended Union Pines High School and had worked as a Paver Operator for Riley Paving in Carthage.
He is survived by: his fiancee Ashley Ward of Mt. Airy; mother Judy Lynn Doby Foster of Carthage; father Danny Ray Foster, Sr. of Vass; sister Crystal Foster of Wagram; brothers David Cagle of Carthage, James Dills of Cameron, Brian Jefferies and Bradley Foster both of Carthage; grandparents Junior and Faye Bell of Wagram and Cecil and Louise Dills of Walnut Cove.
