Darlene Lane Tillman 72, of 1956 Putnam Glendon Rd. Cathage, died Sunday April 3, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Putnam Friends Church with the Rev. Larry McIntyre, Rev. Robert Kidd and the Rev. Billy Joe Brady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore county, Darlene was a homemaker. She was a active and faithful member of Putnam Friends Church. She was the daughter of the late Cecil J. and Katie Medlin Lane. She was predeceased by her sister Doris Badgett and two brothers Jimmy and Steve Lane. She worked at Proctor-Silex for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Warren Tillman of the home; Debbie Cheek and husband , Danny of Carthage; Beverly Britt and friend Larry Presley of Robbins; Billy Ray Marion and wife Daliliah Ann of Carthage; and Marilyn Wallace and husband Jackie of Carthage; step children, Renee Steel and husband Paul of Carthage and Jill Oldham and husband Glen of Goldston, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sister Joan Hennings of Cameron; Peggy Hawthorne of Cameron and Terry Brown of Carthage.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday April 5, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and other times at the home
