Carthage:
David Lee Martindale 37, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Putnam Friends Church, with the Reverend Billy Joe Brady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Martindale was a native of Moore County. He was a machinist and operated Martindale Machine Shop. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Nathan Martindale and sister, Anna Dare Martindale..
David is survived by his wife: Michelle Moore Martindale and son William Layne Martindale, of the home, parents: Billy J. and Jeanette Hussey Martindale, of Carthage and sister, Melissa Butler, and husband Shane, of Carthage.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, February 17, 2012 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, NC.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Layne Martindale Scholarship Fund by contacting First Bank.
