David Lee Brown
March 16, 1946 ~ May 23, 2021
David Lee Brown, 75, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family.
A native of Robbins, he was the son of the late Jiles and Bessie Hammer Brown. David was a 1964 graduate of Elise High School. He served his country in the United States Army. David was a truck driver for many years. In retirement, he raised cows and farmed. He loved the outdoors.
David enjoyed spending time with his grandkids; fishing and riding ATV’s. His laugh is something that can never be forgotten.
David is survived by his wife: Patricia Cole Brown; daughter: Kerry Brown Richardson; step sons: Dale Davis, Scottie Davis; grandchildren: Tyler and Alyssa Richardson, Dorothy Davis; many friends.
Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Kenneth McNeill officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
Memorial may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I am so sorry to learn of David’s passing, he was a friend as well as a classmate! My sympathy and Prayers for all his family!
So sorry about David. I can’t help but remember how he and Greg used to talk and laugh so much. They worked together but was very fond of each other. My prayers will be with you.
I was so sorry to hear about
David’s death. I have so many memories from growing up with him. I especially remember Sundays with David & Terry & their many baseball games.
