Deborah 'Debbie' Blalock Saunders 49 died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Saunders Family Cemetery.
Ms. Saunders worked in banking and local retail stores. She is survived by her daughter Christina Saunders, of High Falls, son Colvin and wife Amanda Saunders, of Jacksonville, sister: Pansy Valk, of Ellerbe, brothers: Robert Blalock, of Mt Gilead, Charles Blalock, of Denton and 5 grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6- 8 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home.

I’m sorry I cant attend the funeral but my love and prayers go out to Debbie’s family..I will always remember visiting with her at our Christmas Parties she was such a down to earth woman with a beautiful smile and heart:)
