Delores Phillips Warren, 85, of Carthage, NC, died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A visitation will be held at Powell Funeral Home in Southern Pines, NC on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 12 pm until 1:30pm, followed at 2:00 pm by a funeral service held in the Powell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Jack Phillips.
Delores was born October 31, 1929 to Bennie and Martha Phillips of Glendon, NC. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eugene Warren, her parents, Bennie and Martha, and her 10 siblings. She leaves behind: two daughters, Marie Warren of Lumberton and Martha Warren of Carthage; two grandchildren, Bradley Hussey and wife Marie, Allison Whitfield and husband Howard Wright Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Hussey and wife Victoria, and Anthony Hussey; four adopted grandchildren Patrick, Destiny, Deesre, and Zane Wright; two great-great grandchildren, Paityn and Swayne Hussey. In addition to many other friends and relatives, she also leaves behind her beloved dog, Tiny.
Memorials may be made to The Haven Animal Rescue, 400 Fulford McMillan Road, Raeford, NC 28376.
