Dennis Michael Tillman passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by his family.

Graveside service will be held 2:30 PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Mt Zion Church, Bennett, NC.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM at Kennedy Funeral Home.

Dennis was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. He worked for Ingersoll-Rand for many years. Dennis enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends. He was proud of all his family and time spent with them was very important. 

Dennis was a son of the late Wilton and Linda Allene Tillman. Dennis is survived by daughter: Tonya Tillman; stepdaughter: Gwen Kennedy McNeill; brother: Steven Tillman and wife, Carol; granddaughter: Abby Tillman; step granddaughters: Kaitlin McNeill and Bailey McNeill; niece: Jessica McDonald; nephew: Aaron Schiff; and many cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank FirstHealth Hospice for their compassion and care.

  6. Dennis and I worked together at ARO for several years, and he was a good man and a great friend. We lost touch after I left ARO IN 1988, but I have many fond memories of those days. Rest in peace, my friend, and prayers for the family.

  7. I am sorry to hear about Dennis. We were classmates in school as well as friends. We spent days in the summer at his house. I loss contact with Dennis when I went into the service in 1973. My thoughts and prayers go out to each of his family members. Fond memories of those days will be cherished.
