Dennis Ray Foster, age 81, of Vass died Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A native of Moore County, he was a son of the late Charles and Laney Howell Foster. He served in the US Navy from 1960-1966 on the USS Kitty Hawk. Dennis enjoyed farming of all kinds. He raised Christmas trees, blueberries, blackberries and pumpkins.
He was preceded in death by all of his brothers Lewis and Glenn Foster; sisters Carol Allred and Ruth Frye.
He is survived by his daughter Tiffany Maray Dye of Dunn and two grandchildren Selah and Ezra.
Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2022 at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage with the Rev. Dale Wallace officiating. A private burial will take place at Johnson Grove Cemetery.
