Donna G. Comer, age 69, of Cameron died peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2019 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gregg Newton and Rev. Thomas Lamkin conducting the service. Burial was at Cameron Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM.
A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Russell Dewey Comer and Rachel Smith Comer. Donna loved her church, listening to gospel music, and family trips to the beach. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Ronnie Comer and Jerry Comer.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Vicki Comer of Cameron; nephews Russell Comer & wife Teena of Vass, Phillip Comer & wife Kerri of Sanford, Robert Comer of Walkertown and Michael Comer of Winston Salem; nieces Beverly Townsley & husband Jason of Helotes, TX and Amanda Comer of Knightdale; one great-niece and six great-nephews.
