Doreen Garner Brown, 80 of 1848 Needham Grove Rd. died Friday, July 11, 2008 at her home.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Acorn Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. John Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County and was a retired employee of Clayson Knitting Co. And a homemaker. Her husband Douglas Brown preceded her in death.
Surviving are: sons David Brown of Fuquay Varina and Eddie Brown and wife Jill of Robbins.
Daughters: Gail Allison and husband Greg of Durham, Susan Jayne and husband David of Salisbury, Maryland.
Brother: William C. Garner of Archdale.
Sisters: Eula Wallace of Carthage and Hazel Morgan of Robbins.
Grandchildren: Gerrad Allison and wife Candice, Geth Allison and wife Katie, Karis Jayne , Micah Jayne and Elijah Brown.
Great- granddaughter: Macie Allison.
The family will receive friends 7 " 9 PM. Monday, July 14, 2008 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins and other times at the home.
