Doreen Garner Brown, 80 of 1848 Needham Grove Rd. died Friday, July 11, 2008 at her home.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Acorn Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. John Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County and was a retired employee of Clayson Knitting Co. And a homemaker. Her husband Douglas Brown preceded her in death.
Surviving are: sons David Brown of Fuquay Varina and Eddie Brown and wife Jill of Robbins.
Daughters: Gail Allison and husband Greg of Durham, Susan Jayne and husband David of Salisbury, Maryland.
Brother: William C. Garner of Archdale.
Sisters: Eula Wallace of Carthage and Hazel Morgan of Robbins.
Grandchildren: Gerrad Allison and wife Candice, Geth Allison and wife Katie, Karis Jayne , Micah Jayne and Elijah Brown.
Great- granddaughter: Macie Allison.
The family will receive friends 7 " 9 PM. Monday, July 14, 2008 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins and other times at the home.

Aunt Susan – We were so sorry to hear about your mom. I wish we could have met her, I\’m sure she was a terrific lady and mom…we can tell that from knowing you. We\’ll be praying for you and your family.
We are so sorry at your loss, but rejoice to know that Doreen is no longer in pain but in glory with her loving Heavenly Father.
