Doris Lee Kerns, 86, died peacefully at her home in Aberdeen, NC, April 30, 2017
No service is planned at this time.
She is survived by her daughter Madelon Lewis of Aberdeen, NC, son Stevie Kerns of Aberdeen, NC, three brothers, Eugene Jacobs and wife Mary of Pinehurst, NC, Robert Jacobs and wife Rosemary of Columbus, Ohio, and Ronnie Jacobs and wife Carla of Pinehurst, NC. She had two grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was a long time resident of Moore County and a strong willed woman who lived life to the fullest.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38106.
