Dorothy R. Rowland

Dorothy Rideout Rowland, 91, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at The Inn at Quail Haven in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16th in the Chapel at Powell Funeral Home in Southern Pines.
Born May 13, 1918 in New Vineyard, Maine she was a daughter of the late Archie and Sybil Holbrook Handy.
Mrs. Rowland was an Administrative Assistant for the Pentagon.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Rowland of Pinehurst, a daughter, Dawnalyn McRobie of Stafford, VA and three grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Powell Funeral Home.
