Dorothy Murray Monroe, 96 of Robbins passed away on January 25, 2024 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11:00 am at Pine Rest Cemetery, Plank Road in Robbins, NC. The Reverend Vic Hill of Tabernacle United Methodist Church will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately after the service, at the graveside.
Dot was born on January 4,1928 in Burlington, NC to William Graves Murray and Mozelle Vaughn Murray. She was married to Charles C. Monroe for 63 years before his death in 2011. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters and is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Dot will be remembered for her deep love of travel with her husband, family and friends, her vacation home at Holden Beach, her love of her garden, her beloved cats, and her church.

Ms. Dot was always with a joyful smile and a contagious love for life. Pop would often take me for her to give me a haircut, always with a laugh and story to tell. Prayers for the family, RIP!
