Dorothy W. Hilbert, age 79, died Tuesday at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Williams officiating.
A native of Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Otto & Martha Wolderich. In 1978 she moved to North Carolina with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard Hilbert; daughters, Randy H. Henderson & husband, Terry of Asheville, Gail Bussman & husband, John of Freeport, Long Island, NY; Valerie Pelick & husband, Andy of Waxhaw; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
