Douglas H. Smith, age 52 died Saturday night at his residence following a battle with cancer.
Services will be private.
A native of Moore County he was a son of Naomi Patterson Smith and the late Harvey Jones Smith. He worked for several years with MOWASA as a Maintenance Mechanic.
He is survived by: two sons John Smith and Patrick Gallagher both of the home; daughter Melissa Smith of Ohio.
