Douglas Wagoner, age 66 of Stage Road died Monday (November 10, 2008) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home conducted by Rev. William Meares.
A native of Yadkin County he spent some of his childhood in Moore County and graduated from Carthage High School. He was son of the late Carlos "Pete" Wagoner and Dorothy Baker. He was a US Navy Veteran of Vietnam and a lifetime member of the VFW in Aberdeen. After his military career he worked as an airplane mechanic. In his free time he enjoyed Golfing and Fishing.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisha Steed and husband Harold (Jr.) of Aberdeen; son Doug Wagoner, Jr. of CA; sister Doris Rogers of Jonesville; brother Tommy Wagoner of Elkin.
