Earl Wayne Poe, 64, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC surrounded by his family.

Graveside Service will be 5:00 PM,  Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Pine Rest Cemetery, with Pastor Frankie Royal officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3:00 PM, at Kennedy Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends at 324 Clay Road, Robbins, NC, on May 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You are invited to dress casual for all services.

Wayne was born in Montgomery County.  He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Wayne enjoyed working and held many different jobs, poultry industry, truck driving and all types of construction work. He also enjoyed time spent outdoors, especially deer hunting and running dogs.  Wayne loved helping other people and always cared for others before himself. Wayne was a son of the late Earl Poe and was preceded in death by brother: Eddie Poe.

Wayne is survived by mother: Edith Swaringen Poe; daughters: Kathy Blake and Tim Womble,  Amy Fernandez and husband Claudio; son: Travis Poe and partner C J; fiancee: Barbara Hicks; grandchildren:  Matthew Ingram, Bennie Williamson, Skylynn Williamson, Kayla Womble, Margarita Moreno, Rosa Fernandez, Joshua Fernandez Claudio Fernandez, great grand daughter: Mattilyn Ingram; niece: Danica Davis and many friends.
