Edward "Ed" S. Dattilo, Jr. age 57 of 936 Vass-Carthage Road died Monday (November 3, 2008) at his residence.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Trinity Bible Church in Carthage conducted by the Rev. Dr. William J. Maness, Jr. and the Rev. David Reynolds. Burial will follow in Cross Hill Cemetery.
A native of Silver Creek, NY he was a son of Johnsie Brown Dattilo and the late Edward S. Dattilo. Eddie was an entrepreneur owning and operating many businesses over the years. When he moved to Moore County he started D&D Golf and Games. He also operated Ed's Charbroil Hots in Carthage, the Jams Club and Body Tan in Southern Pines, and was also a custom bike and antique car dealer.
In addition to his mother he is survived by: his wife Cindy Belton Dattilo; son Joshua Parrish of Aberdeen; sister Patricia Miller of Warren, PA; brothers Chuck Dattilo and wife Valarie of Carthage, Jim Dattilo and wife Joy of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 —8:00 PM and other times at the residence.

Ed was my 2nd cousin. I remembered him (and the rest of the Brown side of the family) always being around when me and my siblings were growing up, and I knew him to be a good person because of how he was towards everyone in the family. We all will miss hi
