Charles E. 'Eddie' Loving age 65 of Cameron died Sunday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Cameron Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Craines Creek Cemetery.
Born in Richmond County to the late Frank Jones Loving and Jessie Thomas Loving he spent most of his life in Cameron. Eddie graduated from Union Pines High School and N.C. State University. He had various jobs, but worked most recently as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Bowman Loving who passed away earlier this year and a brother Richard Loving.
He is survived by: daughters Beth Elliott and husband Brent of Siler City, Jessica Gozy and husband Jarrod of Clarksville, TN; brother Tommy Loving and wife Judy of Cameron; sister Mary Lou Yow and husband Tony of Sanford; grandchildren Elyssa, Matthew, Chase, Michael and Trevor.
The family will receive friends at Cameron Baptist Church fellowship hall on Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 and other times at the residence.

  7. I’m saddened to here of Eddie’s passing. Though I had not seen Eddie since early childhood, he was my first friend. We were neighbors in Hamlet where our dad’s worked for the Seaboard railroad. Back then he was affectionately called "Sweetsie".
