Edward Arthur Reeves, Jr.

Edward Arthur Reeves, Jr., age 99, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 18, 2026, with his loving wife, Darlene, by his side.

Edward was born February 5, 1927, to the late Edward & Jessie Locke Reeves in Dothan, Alabama. 

After graduation, Edward began his long career in the U.S. Army, where he served during WWII and the Korean War, eventually retiring from the Army Reserves. He worked for the federal government while in the reserves. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Fred Reeves. 

Edward is survived by his wife of 19 years, Darlene Reeves, his two sons, Edward Reeves, III of St. Michaels, MD, and John Reeves of Charlottesville, VA, his 6 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. However, it will be prior to Edward being laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
