Eileen Anita Pages

Eileen Anita Pages, née James, 88, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Hospice House in West End, North Carolina.

Born on October 15, 1937, in Bronx, New York, Eileen was the daughter of Robert James and Lillian Anthony James Burke. She spent most of her life in New York, where she and her husband, Henry “Hank” Pages, met.  They were married in 1960 and shared 66 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories.

In 1998, their shared love of golf brought them to Pinehurst, North Carolina, where they enjoyed a new chapter of life together. Eileen and Hank also loved traveling, taking cruises throughout Europe and exploring countless destinations both near and far. Their travels and experiences created many lasting and loving memories.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bobby James. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, Hank Pages, her two sisters, Patricia Connolly and Roberta Godlewski, and her nieces and nephews. 

Henry would like to express his heartfelt gratitude to FirstHealth Hospice for the compassion and kindness they showed in caring for Eileen.

A private service will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
