Eldon Butch' Phillips

Eldon Lee "Butch" Phillips, 58, of Charlotte died at his residence.
A native of Moore County, Mr. Phillips was the son of the late Ralph Lee Phillips and Vada Verline Teague Phillips. He was U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam conflict, and was recently pursuing a career in accounting.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Highfalls United Methodist Church, directed by Fry and Prickett Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors: two sisters Catherine P. Graham, Carthage, Marie Webster, Pittsboro; and a brother Donald Phillips, Harrisburg, Va.
