Elenor Harriette Thomas, age 78, died Wednesday, December 25, 2019.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2019 at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Red Branch Baptist Church, 1748 Old River Road, Carthage, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2pm.
Born in Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Lester Frank Vaughn and Marjorie Fields Vaughn. In addition to her parents, Harriette was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Thomas, a son, James Thomas and a grand-daughter, Kacee Thomas.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Milburn Thomas; a son, Bruce Thomas; three grand-children, Taylor, Tori and Haley Thomas.
