Elizabeth Geraldine Sanders Moore 79, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Graveside service will be 4:30 PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Browns Chapel Christian Church Cemetery, with the Reverend James Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the home..
Geraldine was a native of Moore County. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Geraldine enjoyed caring for her home and flower garden. She was talented with arts and crafts, making lamps out of glass bottles of any kind. She like bluegrass music, dancing and in her later years, bird watching. Geraldine was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Nepsie McKenzie Sanders and was preceded in death by husband: James Doyle Moore; grandson: Stoney Crabtree.
Geraldine is survived by daughter: Vickie York and husband Dwight, sons: Michael Moore, Kenneth Moore; friend: Jimmy Byrd; grandchildren: Joshua Craig, Clint Craig, Logan Moore, Corey Crabtree and wife Liza, Dylan Moore, Colton Moore and wife Makyla; great grandchildren: Ethan Wayne Craig, Payton Crabtree; sisters: Louvene Fields, Velna Newberry; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Aunt Gerry was one of a kind. She was always ready with a smile and a hug. Time spent with her was filled with lots of laughter and fun. She will be greatly missed by all of us who loved her.
