Elizabeth Thompson Evans, age 92 of Carthage died Monday (November 26, 2007) at Manor Care of Pinehurst.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Johnson Grove Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Bill Davis and Rev. Bruce Benton.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Joseph Thompson and Ora Davis Thompson. She was a homemaker, and operated Thurlow's Lake pavilion for many years.
She is survived by: daughter Carolyn Ring and husband James of Vass; grandchildren Dennis Ring and wife Debbie of Southern Pines, Robin Lea and husband Ricky of Carthage, Frankie Ring and wife Marcie of Carthage; great-grandchildren Joshua, Caroline, Nolan, Eli, Luke and Abel.
The family will receive friends at the home of Carolyn and James Ring, 4569 Union Church Road, and following the service in the fellowship hall at First Baptist Church in Vass.
