Emma Castner Wales, age 83 of Whispering Pines died Monday (February 6, 2012) at her home.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday at Eureka Presbyterian Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Wilkes-Barre, PA she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Redmond Castner and was a retired retail sales manager. She was preceded in death by her husband John Wales.
She is survived by: children Ronald Miko of the home, Becky Dziok of Sanford, Ester Whitley of Belmar, NJ, J. Elmer Miko of Charleston, SC, Alex Wales of MO, John Wales of Columbia, MD and Rosemary Wales of Hamilton, NJ; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
