Ernie Frye, 97 of Robbins, died Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2022 at Unity Grove Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Jason Cheek. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in repose prior to the service at the church, beginning at 1:00 PM.
He was a son of the late Arch Henry Frye and Fannie Martindale Frye. Ernie was born in Chatham County but lived most of his life in Moore County. He was a truck driver for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers: Henry Frye, Hubert Frye.
He is survived by his wife Betty, of Carthage and many friends..
