April 25, 1941 ~ March 18, 2026
Faye Garner Kecatos, 84, of Robbins, North Carolina, passed away on March 18, 2026 peacefully at her home with her family by her bedside.
She was born on April 25, 1941, in Moore county, North Carolina, to the late John and Lessie Garner. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Colon Garner.
Faye dedicated 22 years of her career as a skilled machinist with ARO/Ingersoll-Rand Corporation. She enjoyed working and took pride in being able to buy things for her children and grandchildren. Above all, she loved her family more than anything and devoted her life to caring for those she loved.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, George Kecatos; her children, Amy Maness (Darrin) of Highfalls, North Carolina, and Terry Beasley (Lisa) of Elgin, South Carolina; as well as eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Faye loved the Lord and was a loyal and devout lifetime member of Crossroads Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as a pianist and Sunday school teacher. She never met a stranger and wouldn’t hesitate to share her faith in Jesus with anyone she met.
She enjoyed shopping, decorating and caring for her home, and she cherished time spent talking with friends and family on the phone. She was a loyal and loving friend to many and will be dearly missed by her family and her large community of friends. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be Tuesday March 24 at 2 pm with the family at Robbins Crossroads Baptist Church, Pastor Colton Moore officiating, the funeral service will immediately follow at 3 pm and fellowship with the family afterwards. The family will also be receiving family and friends at the home in Robbins.
We would like to say a special Thank you to the First Heath Hospice team and Hospice house who lovingly and tenderly took such great care of her and made her smile and laugh every day. We are grateful for all your kindness.
Faye will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
