Fletcher H. Frye

Fletcher H. Frye, age 88 of Carthage (Hillcrest community) died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at Summer Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Arnold Comer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Willie Martin and Annie Jane Reynolds Frye. He retired in 1990 after 40 years of service as Maintenance Supervisor for area 6 of the NC Department of Transportation.
He was preceded in death by his wife Julia McIntosh Frye and a son Harold Frye, Jr.
He is survived by two daughters Brenda Phillips of Siler City and Dawn Horne and husband Charles of Carthage; a son Steve Frye and wife Anita of Carthage; grandchildren Lorie Johnson, Cale Horne and Kasey Thompson; great grandchildren Kristen and Carson Garner and Fletcher Thompson.
