Florence Z. Gleason

Mrs. Florence Z. Gleason, 97, died Friday September 10, 2010 at Tara Plantation of Carthage.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday September 14th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Powell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill, CT.
Born March 16, 1913 in Rockville, CT she was a daughter of the late Oswald and Frieda Otto Ziegler and wife of the late James H. Gleason.
Mrs. Gleason was a legal secretary, a volunteer toy maker at Moore Regional Hospital for 20 years and was a member of Community Congregational Church.
She is survived by her son Donald Gleason and wife Jean of Seven Lakes, two grandsons, Scott and Brent Gleason, and four great grandchildren.
