Flossie Ometa Marley 85, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC.

 

Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Flint Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend William Hancock, Reverend Edwin Moore and Reverend Mark Forrest officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Ometa was a native of Moore County. She worked for many years in the textile industry. She loved to travel and eat out with her family. Ometa was a  daughter of the late Otis and Fonnie Ocia Moore Helms and was preceded in death by husband: Walter Marley; daughter. Wilma Marley; brother Archie Leon Helms.

 

Ometa is survived by daughters: Wanda Marley, of Robbins,  Rosa Russell, of Biscoe, Linda Sheffield of Robbins: grandchildren:  Tammy Sheffield, Tina Cole, Pam Morgan, Brittany Russell, Michael Russell:  great-grandchildren: Hayley Cole, Emma and Bryden Morgan; sisters: Leta Ann Hildreth, Margaret Hildreth and Sylvia Jean Farlow.

 

The family will receive friends at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Flint Hill Baptist Church and at other times at the home.     

 

Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Marley family.
