Floyd Junior Nichols 82, of 120 Whisper Lane, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Williams Family Cemetery with the Reverend Tim Beck officiating.
Mr. Nichols was a native of Virginia. He loved blue grass music and making pottery, especially Angels. His parents, Clegde J. and Hattie Giles Nichols and brother, Jack Nichols preceded him in death.
Mr. Nichols is survived by son, Garry Nichols and wife Robin of Eagle Springs, daughter Sheilah Scott and husband Ted of Asheboro, brothers: Dwight Nichols, of Durham, Wesley Nichols and Roy Nichols of Robbins, Jewel Nichols of Asheboro, James Nichols of Myrtle Beach, sisters: Shirley Beck, of Robbins, Sylvia Sheffield, of Ramseur, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
