Floyd Walter Williamson, 81 of 1215 NC Hwy 705 died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Victory Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Larry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Williamson was a native of Moore County, was a retired employee of Burlington Industries. He enjoyed part-time wood working and pottery making. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Wanda Williamson Lewis Brother: Clarence Williamson and Sister: Maudie Williamson.
Surviving are: his wife Cleadell McNeill Williamson of the home.
Daughter: Peggy Williamson Wiggins and husband Aubrey of Raleigh.
Brother: James Williamson of Asheboro.
Sisters: Lucy King and husband Clyde of Seagrove and Estelle Albright and husband Kelly of Seagrove.
4 grandchildren: Jay Lewis and Carrie Lewis McNeill of Seagrove, Jona Wiggins Kimbrough of Evans, Colo. and Neil Wiggins of Raleigh.
2 Great-grandchildren Caleb and Ethan Kimbrough.
The family will receive friends 6:00 " 8:00 PM. Friday, May 23, 2008 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins and other times at the home.
