Foy Jean Wall, age 82 Carthage died Friday (December 28, 2012) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church in Carthage conducted by Pastor Raymond Campbell. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship and life celebration in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be prior to the service at 2:00 PM at Yates-Thagard Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late David 'Windy' Dupree and Bertha Rawls Sercy Dupree. She worked in local textile factories for many years and later received her C.N.A. certification and became a caretaker for many people around Carthage.
She was preceded in death by: husbands Herman Grimm, Jr. and Roy Lee Wall, and one son Michael Grimm.
Survivors include: her daughter Kay Grimm of Fayetteville; sisters Willa Forrest, Janet Poe and husband Bill, Sue Davis and husband Vernon all of Carthage; grandson Kenny Grimm.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home and following the service.
