Frances Elizabeth “Libby” (Bates) Collard, 82, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026,  to join her loving husband, Thomas Paul Collard.  

Formerly a medical technologist, she was a homemaker, mother of 5, grandmother, great-grandmother, pet mother and foster mother, church secretary, storyteller, avid shopper, and social butterfly.  

Memorial service to be held at 2:30 pm on July 17 2026 at Elise Presbyterian Church, 200 N Middleton St, Robbins, NC 27325.

Kennedy Funeral Home is serving the Collard family.

  2. With Heart-Felt Sympathy, Love and Prayers 🙏 for all the family. Libby was such a kind soul. She and Tom were faithful to Elise Presbyterian Church as long as they both were able to attend. They are now reunited with our Lord and Savior. May God hold each of the family especially close through this time of grief.
