Frances Saywell Crowder

Frances Saywell Crowder, 94, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Edward and Vivian B. Saywell; brothers, Charles Edward Saywell, Jr., Earl Lawrence Saywell, and William Bertram Saywell.
Surviving relatives include two nephews, Lawrence E. Saywell and Paul M. Saywell; two nieces, Susan S. Reilly, and Cynthia S. Glinowiecki.
Frances lived many of her married years with husband Fred in New Canaan, CT. Along with her husband, she was an avid golfer and enjoyed friendships at the Whispering Pines Country Club and the symphony. For many years, she was a volunteer at First Health Hospital. Frances adopted and loved many dogs during her long life.
