Francis D. Small

Mr. Francis Daniel Small, 95, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at St. Joseph of the PInes Health Center in Southern Pines.

Born May 21, 1914 in Baltimore, MD he was a son of the late Sylvester and Winnefred Farrell Small and husband of the late Bernadine Wimpling Small.
Mr. Small was a US Army Veteran of WWII and was a machinist for the Kennocott Copper Refinery.
He is survived by two sons, Robert D. Small of Atlanta, GA and Patrick F. Small of Marina Del Ray, CA, one daughter Monica Mullikin of N. Charleston, SC and five grandchildren.
