Frank Lynn Gaines, 90, of 600 East Forest Drive, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Tara Plantation in Carthage N. C.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. James Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Gaines was a native of Lee County and a retired employee Burlington Industries.
Surviving are: wife, Sylvia Denny Gaines of the home, sons, Robert L. Gaines and wife Georgia of Greensboro, N. C., Dannie R. Gaines and wife Nell of Asheboro, N. C., daughters, Hilda G. Key and husband Clint of Sanford, N. C., Rebecca G. Graham of Seagrove, N. C., and Sharon G. McNeill and husband Jerry of Seagrove, N. C., eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Kennedy Funeral Home, all other times at the home.
