G. Rives Kelly, age 71 died Saturday (June 25, 2011) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at the Gospel Chapel conducted by Pastor Jim Boyte. Burial will be at Cross Hill Cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late John and Kate Nall Kelly. He attended Campbell College and worked as a warehouse manager for D.A. Kelly stores and also owned and operated Rieves Kelly and Sons construction company.
He is survived by: sons Scott Kelly and wife Marie of Reidsville, Keith Kelly and wife Angie of Carthage, Brad Kelly and wife Rachelle of Charlotte; sisters Rosemary Thomas of Wilmington, Peggy Jones of Bennett; brother Archie Kelly of Carthage; seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at the residence of Keith and Angie Kelly.
