Genevieve Garner Kennedy, 82 of Robbins, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Genesis Elder Care in Salisbury.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Smyrna United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Tal Madison and the Rev. Edwin Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County, was preceded in death by her husband; William Kennedy; brother: Wyland Garner, sisters: Mazie Cheek and Delah Chriscoe.
Surviving is: daughters Judie Fulbright and husband Larry of Salisbury and Sandra Dehart of Yorktown, Va.
Grandchildren: Kendra Fulbright of Woodleaf, Rhonda Fulbright of Salisbury, Ray Dehart of Gloucester, Va. and Roy Dehart of Chesapeake, Va.
Great-grandchildren: Shelby Dehart and Caleb Fortune.
Sister: Eva Hussey of Robbins.
