George Brinkley Faulkner

George Brinkley Faulkner, age 64, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Duke University Hospital.
Born in Moore County, on January 8, 1959, he was a son of the late Uycless Fenner and Peggy Dean Hinesley Faulkner.
George worked early on as a meat cutter and then later as a plumber and maintenance worker around the Moore County area. He then went on to work as a maintenance technician for Durham Rescue Mission. He enjoyed fishing and watching Western movies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Alvin Faulkner; brother in law Michael Lee Short; his sisters-in-law: Rosemary Faulkner and Joyce Faulkner.
George is survived by his daughter: Georgia Rene Faulkner; son: Ulycess Trint Faulkner; brother: Ted Faulkner, Robert Faulker and wife Catrina; sister Linda Short; grandson: Myles Alexander Graham; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11 AM at Summer Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.

Georgia, Trint and Family, my heart goes out to you all at this time of loss of your Dad, George. May God’s love and peace be with you and may you treasurer the good memories of your time together. Remembering family in prayers. George was a good worker and a friend at the Durham Rescue Mision. He will be missed. But we are rejoicing in the fact that he is now in glory with his Saviour.
