Georgia Richardson Bean, 94 of Carthage met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven on Friday April 26, 2024, by way of FirstHealth of the Carolinas. 

Georgia was born in Moore County and was preceded in death by her husband John Melvin Bean, her daughter, Susan Bean, parents: John and Mathie Richardson, and her brother and sisters. 

Georgia is survived by her daughter, Teresa Jones, granddaughters: Monica Lopez, Kylie Bean, Rachel Campbell, and great-grandchildren: Natalie, John, Lorenzo, and Sofia.

Georgia was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and a loyal member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Robbins, NC 

Georgia was a Godly woman and an example to all who knew her. She was an incredible wife, mother, and Memaw.

Funeral service will be 2 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Tabernacle United Methodist Church with Reverend Vic Hill officiating.  Burial will follow at Brown’s Chapel Christian Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 PM.

Memorial may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, P O Box 395, Robbins, NC 27325.

I love you with all my heart, dearest Aunt Georgia, and while it pains me that you’ve left this mortal world, I am comforted that you are no longer in the pain of this world and are reunited with all your loved ones who went before you. I know my Grandma in particular was so happy to welcome you into heaven’s gates with her and Jesus. I can only imagine the reunion you had with your parents, Uncle Melvin, Earl, Ethel, Ira Mae, Eva, my grandma Carletta, Susan, and everyone else dear to you who were already in heaven.
