Georgia Ritter Layne 72, died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 13, 2106 at Kennedy Funeral Home, with Ronnie Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 PM.
Georgia was a native of Moore County, who loved spending time with her family. She worked in the textile industry for many years, She enjoyed “real”country music and all her loyal and devoted dogs. In her later years she kept up with friends and family through Facebook. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lennie and Ethel Garner Ritter; husband: Frank Layne; son: Michael Hartsell; sisters: Montana Furr, Virginia Lonkert.
Georgia is survived by daughters: Debbie Hartsell, of Carthage, Tina Spivey and husband Tut of Robbins; grandchildren: Alisha Galloway and husband Ethan, Stephanie Hussey, Collin Hartsell; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends
