Gerald Brown, age 63 of Old River Road, died Wednesday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services 11:00 A. M. Saturday (October 4, 2008) at Summer Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev David Reynolds and
Burial will follow in Cross Hill Cemetery.
A native of Moore County, he was a son of the late Samuel Luther Brown and Jessie Alma Muse Brown. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a cable repairman for Embarq Telephone Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters Audrey Benner, Joyce Mabe and Beulah Brown; a brother Melvin Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sykes Brown; a sister Johnsie Dattilo of Aberdeen;
two brothers S. L. Brown, Jr. and Doug Brown both of Carthage
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at the Summer Hill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and at other times at the residence.
