Gladys Marley Brown 90, of 220 East Moore Street, died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Kennedy Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Freeman and Reverend Samuel Sweeny officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Moore County. She was the owner of Gladys' Kitchen in Robbins. She loved music, singing and quilting. Her husband, Raymond Brown and son, Darrell Brown, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Brown is survived by Stewart, of the home, daughter, Frances Caudill and husband John, of Robbins, grandchildren, Mark Caudill, of Robbins, Alex Caudill, of Robbins, Penny Caudill, of Asheboro, Connie Loy, of Robbins, 4 great-grandchildren and sister, Ruby Sanders, of Robbins.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, Il. 60601.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

  2. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I remember her and Darrell so much. She is now in heaven with him 7 HER HUSBAND. She was a sweet lady that never seemed to meet a stranger.
