Glen C. Chriscoe, 64, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Randolph Hospital.

Glen was born on November 6, 1958 in Randolph County.  He attended North Moore High School.  He worked in the textile industry for many years and later at Ben Owen Pottery.  He was a fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr and NASCAR racing.  Glen was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed many trips fishing at Jordan Lake.  He enjoyed time spent with his large family.

Glen was a son of the late Grant and Bertha Williamson Chrisco and was preceded in death by siblings: Gene Chriscoe, Hubert Chriscoe, Emily Needham, Frankie Chriscoe, Wanda Chriscoe.

Glen is survived by sisters: Phyllis Davis (Gilbert), Sherry Brady (Russell); brother: Paul Chriscoe (Tamara); many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 2 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Union Grove Baptist Church.

The body will lie in repose from 2 until 5 PM, Wednesday, September 13, 2023 and 8 until Noon on Thursday,  September 14, 2023 at Kennedy Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the home.

  1. So sorry for our loss ! So much I could say about Glen but most of all he was a special brother in law to me ! He was always smiling making jokes and made you feel welcome ! Our loss but Heavens gain ! May God wrap his arms around each and everyone of us as we say goodbye here on earth but one day we will meet again ! God bless the family !
