Glenda Whitaker Ludwig, 51, of Cameron died Saturday (March 26, 2011) at the residence of her sister Sandra Clark in Lemon Springs.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Tuesday at Christian Faith Ministries in Sanford conducted by the Rev. Donald Kivett and Rev. Ronnie Whitaker. Burial will follow at Crossroads Community Church Cemetery in Carthage.
A native of Montgomery County She was a daughter of the late William Leroy and Betty Bouldin Whitaker. She worked as a receptionist for many years at Ro-Matic in Sanford. A wonderful mom and loving grandma, she spent the last several years giving her time and devotion to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters; Kristy Barber and husband, Kevin of Cameron, Jennifer Ludwig and fiancAƒAC. Todd Cummings of Carthage; sons, Joey Ludwig and fiancAƒAC. Heather Barber of Cameron, and Kevin Ludwig and wife, Amy of Sanford; sisters, Janice Minter, of Harrells, Carol Potter of Sanford, Sandra Clark of Sanford, and Robin Carroll of Harrells; brothers, Ronnie Whitaker of Sanford and Corbin Whitaker of Carthage; and grandchildren, Tyler, Chandler and Dixie Barber, Bryson, Callie, Aubrey and Ariana Ludwig, and Jordan Nunnaley.
The family will receive friends Monday at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage from 6 PM - 8 PM and other times at the residence of Sandra Clark, 4121 Farmstead Dr., Sanford.
