ROBBINS: Grace Garner Cockman 93 of 801 Pinehurst Ave. Carthage and formerly of Robbins died Sunday August 31,2008 at Pinelake Health and Rehab.
She was a retired employee of Robbins Mills after 40 years of service. She was the daughter of the late William and Alice Garner. She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert F. ?Goof Cockman, Brothers Coolidge and Hardy Garner and sister Flora Cagle.
She is survived by Sons: Elbert F. ?Junior ? Cockman and wife Betty Jo of Robbins, Jimmy Cockman and wife Lois of Robbins, Daughter: Helen Phillips and husband Donald of Glendon.
Brothers: Russell Garner of High Falls and Herbert Garner of Robbins.
Sisters: Edna Mae of Burlington,EtheleneDavis and Donarose Ritter and Texie Garner all of Robbins. Grandchildren: Roxanne Monroe and husband Timmy of Robbins,Pam Wallace and husband Timmy of Glendon,Amy Smith and husband Chuck of Randleman, Jennifer Albright and husband Jay of Bennett. Great Grandchildren: Ashley Greene and husband Chad of Bennett, Tyler Wallace of Glendon. Great Great Grandchildren: Dakota and CarsonGreen of Bennett.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday Sept.3,2008 at Crossroads Baptist Church where she attended with the Rev. Mike Holyfield officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 "8:30 P.M. Tuesday Sept. 2,2008 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins.
