Grady Lee Frye

Grady Lee Frye, 81 of Robbins entered his heavenly home on February 20, 2011. He was born to the late Archie and Fannie Martindale Frye of Carthage on October 11, 1929.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Bright Light Baptist Church with Reverend Ralph Voncannon and Reverend Edwin Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Frye Family Cemetery.
Grady was a native of Moore County and retired from the textile industry. He was known for being a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. The love of his life was his wife, Pauline, who he shared his heart with for 54 years. He dedicated the last 14 years of his life to care for her while she battled Alzheimer's disease. Grady was an avid fisherman, craftsman and outdoorsman. Grady was preceded in death by his father, Archie Frye, his mother, Fannie Martindale Frye and his brother, Henry Frye. He is survived by his wife, Pauline of the home, sons: Randy Frye of High Falls, Ronald Frye of Robbins and Michael Frye of Eagle Springs, daughters: Kay Kivett of Robbins and Kathy Bowles of Carthage, 8 grandchildren, brothers: Ernie Frye and Hubert Frye of Robbins.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Ok 73123 or Bright Light Baptist Church, 541 Plank Road, Robbins, NC 27325.
